Reports in today's press that Arsenal have tabled an £8M offer for Shay Given. Fat Ashley will no doubt snap their hand off.....after all, thats 2 good nights in the casino.... To be honest, Shay looked like he had already been told when he played against Liverpool - he looked disgusted, and I'm not sure he would have chosen to go but is being pushed.
Fat Ash appears to be doing his usual trick of not actually spending any money - but using the money from players going out to finance new players coming in. The fabulous players they have lined up, apparently, are all from the Championship - fookin great like...
This is one longtime season ticket holder (over 23 yrs) - who's just about had enough.

Shay's loyal to a fault but and I would be shattered if he did one but I wouldn't hold it against him
Still, I refuse to believe it until I hear it from the horse's mouth. Many times that rumour has been up and the number of the clubs interested in him is legion (who wouldn't want him?) but most of it is paper talk...
On the plus side, all those Championship players will come in handy next season...
